Most states allow people to get a driver’s license at the age of 16. Some people feel that 16 is much too young for the responsibility that comes with driving a car and that teenagers should not be allowed to drive until the age of 18. In your opinion, at what age should people be allowed to drive, and why?

Many countries do not allow underage people to get their driver's licenses. However, in countries like Canada and The United States, that prohibition does not apply, allowing adolescents to get their permission at such a young age. The driver's license comes with the responsibility of taking care of life and other duties. In the worst scenario, if a young driver gets into a fatal accident, they will face the consequences in a courtroom; and their future like jobs, relationships, international trips, and many more may be disturbed due to the criminal record. In my opinion, the minimum legal age should be over 18 years old because you are already an adult with obligations and a sense of how things work. Laws are different around the globe, and even inside a country, the legislature is applied differently for each province, but we can not forget that life is the same anywhere.
