My hero academia = Like Naruto but better.
Parasyte = Gory like Tokyo Ghoul. Also very, very good.
Haikyuu = fun sports anime
Psychopass = Suspense thriller. Very dark.
If you want shoujo, these are awesome.

Bleach. Samurai X. Attack on Titan. Samurai X live actiin was great. But the Attack on Titan went south. I am looking forward for the Bleach live action version.

FMA is not about robots. :) I found it to be just...okay though.
Haikyuu is volleyball. Kuroko no basket is basketball. Free is swimming. :)

Try Code Geass. It has robots but it's not the main thing about the anime. The story and the characters are just too good!
