Learning or Acquiring a Language?
I have been living in the United States for over 12 years and I have noticed that my English have changed a lot over the time.
I have read somewhere that instead of learning a language we need to acquire a language, which I've found to be very true.
Learning a language is more than memorizing words, it is a full immersion in the country's culture, it is learning their native words, and even understanding the way the native people thinks. I have a lot to learn, a lot to correct, but the willingness is always there.
