Write & CorrectPortuguese
Brazil burning
I'm not going to mention the political - and disgusting - aspects of the tragedy, but the effects.
I live very far away from the Amazon and the Pantanal, but the result of so many acres of forests burning is getting here, in São Paulo. The sky is heavy and has a strange color, I've been feeling a little breathless and a lack of energy to perform my duties. It's like there was some expectation in the air.
Let alone the suffering of animals and the people living in those areas. Let alone the indigenous people: this is the anticipation of their loosing their lands and, thus, their life style so full of richness and lessons to be learned.
It's desperating to watch it and see no real effort to control the situation.

Since you've already used "Let alone" once in the next sentence you could change for a synonym like "Not to mention the indigenous people" :)
Other than that, great job :D

Thank you for sharing what's happening in your country. It also reminded me of the situation in Mongolia but over there it's already part of their lives. Hoping for the best for Brazil.
