Distance Education

I would like to describe some advantages and some disadvantages about distance education. On one hand it is important because you can reach people in all types of places around the world . On the other hand it is hard when you watch some classes and you do not have the opportunity to solve some doubts.
I personally did some distance courses such as: Portuguese language at Unip university, climate change on United nation web site for instance. The first one gave me some notion on what to use correctly the Portuguese language. It was amazing because I stayed at the comfort of my house and the only thing that was required was: internet at home, a laptop, and broadband with speed of 5 megabytes.
Honestly at the first glance when I heard about distance education fifteen years ago I got in doubt because that was new . Here in Brazil technology is not a strong point because we do not are costumed in developing technology. So I insist on say that the first time I heard distance education it does not sounds good . I asked to myself if someone with a certificate gotten by distance education would have the same potential that a person that got his certificate in some area doing it physically. Obviously it is a little strange at first glance . But now distance education is a reality it come to stay forever.
At the beginning of this essay I mentioned some disadvantages in doing distance courses such as: If I suppose doing some questioning to the teacher it is not possible because the class was recorded and the only way is taking the cellphone to make a call for the institution or by forum.
I hate when I really want to taking some doubts at the same time of the video, but as I said before it is not possible. I am look forward to when five g technology is near to be implanted because I know it will bring a lot of advantages on distance courses.
To summarize I want to say that: in times of pandemic distance education has solved a lot of issues around the globe . With no doubts it is incredible what the internet has proportioned for us . I wish every people have the opportunity to use the internet and getting better with distance education courses and so on.
