Some people think that women should be allowed to join the armed forces and go to war, whilst others disagree. Considering the background and culture of different people especially multi-ethnic societies, so that’s why some people agree and the others disagree.
People supporting this idea argue that it is a right for women to participate in the army. Gender equality supporter also would agree because they seek to make no differences between men and women. Percentage of women in some countries is much higher than men, which lead them to accept this idea. Feminist movement in the United Kingdom was protesting against the regime because in the army they do not allow women to fight in the front lines.
On the contrast, some people believe that women can’t join the army or go to war. They say women are physically weaker than men, so they can’t deal with tough conditions of war. They should have a cruel heart to kill the enemies not a kind one. Custom and traditions play its role too in the society if it’s acceptable for women to go to war or not.
What I think is women should be allowed to join the army but shouldn’t be allowed to go to war. I believe they could do better job throw war time more important than killing people, which is nursing and helping people, women do this better than men. Women can do office work and communications in the army.
The conflict between both genders should end because we were created different we should accept this fact. Women can perform better in some jobs more than men for example, when you think about a nurse typically you will think of a women. Joining the army wouldn’t be a problem, but what will they do inside the army that will be a good question.
