Graffiti and vandalism
Is important to understand that graffiti is a form of art and not vandalism and people should appreciate it more because it is, just like other art forms, a way of expression and also makes the place more colorful and beautiful. Graffiti is usually drawing colorful to draw attention to a social criticism to make us reflect about an important situation.

"Just because it is now in the museum does not mean it is not art." Saw this on a graffiti Facebook page.

Interesting thoughts. But what if the graffiti is written or drawn on someone else's property?

I love graffiti that is not just a pointless tag or vulgar language etc, I genuinely think the councils should commission works to make areas a bit more alive... they could have contests so that they don't commission somebody rubbish it could even generate community spirit they could vote on which work of art would go where you could even generate money by making it an event... or have communities paint it together... In my old city we have a community mural of a map of the old city, with famous places and people who have dies that we cherished etc
