Hi Marlan! Instead of focusing on the syntax and grammar, I'd just give you advice on style since I think that's crucial for written communication. :)
When writing, you want to make it easy for your reader to know what it is you're talking about. It should be easy for your reader to get your point. And so, you may want to check out though models like PREP (point-reason-example-point), CSC (core-support-close), or STAR (situation-task-action-result). These should help give you some structure when writing.
Also, you may want to make it around 150 to 200 words since most "scored" written essays are around that long. :) 'Hope this helps!
