I've started selling clothes and home objects online after having my house refurbished, I decided to give up a lot of spare things to keep it simpler and - why not - make a little money.
The thruth is I've started enjoying it and , now, I'm selling something on a daily basis. Negotiating is a skill I didn't know I had, but I must admit I've learned a lot from my father without even realizing. I've always been the intellectual kind and believed I would become a scholar, but I'm too energetic for that, although I love researching, reading and writing. I need some instant reward, I know that now.
I also need human contact - and trading is a great way to have it in my life. I mean, novelty, strangers' stories and different mindsets. I already have many curious passages to tell, because I can't help transforming the selling contacts into lessons and street wisdom. A lot of times I have a long chat with the buyer, at the moment of delivering the goods that were sold, and it's cool. I love talking to strangers.
Sometimes it's tricky, though. Like some minutes ago, when I lost my patience with a lady from Rio. She's totally nuts! We've been negotiating for three weeks, believe it or not. She's very confusing, sends too many messages and always has to talk about her poor health condition. I guess it's a way to get more and more discounts.
After all the long bargaining, she made a money transfer without the shipping value. She's just sent a message giving up the purchase.
