This policy covers how LanguageCrush, ("LanguageCrush," "we," "us," or "our") treats personal information that it collects and receives on LanguageCrush.com, sites, and applications related to LanguageCrush. - LanguageCrush may also collect information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners. This information might include necessary information to process your due payments to us, such as your credit card number.
- LanguageCrush may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request.
2. IP Address
LanguageCrush obtains IP addresses from users depending upon how you access our web sites. IP addresses, browser and session information may be used for various purposes, including to:
- Diagnose and prevent service or technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP.
- Estimate the total number of users visiting LanguageCrush web sites or applications from specific geographical regions.

4. Information Relating to Children and Minors

Although we offer deletion capability you should be aware that the removal of content may not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of that content or information posted.

- LanguageCrush does not share personal information we learn about you from your use of the LanguageCrush web sites, products and services with others except as described in this policy.
- LanguageCrush uses the personal information it collects for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting.
- When you provide personal information through using LanguageCrush you are sharing your personal information with LanguageCrush and its affiliated entities. The use of your personal information by these organizations is subject to this policy.
- We do not share your information with unrelated third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We may also share personal information about you in the following circumstances:- In the course of operating our business it may be necessary or appropriate for us to provide access to your personal information to others such as our service providers, contractors and select vendors so that we can operate LanguageCrush and our business.
- LanguageCrush will display your "Display Name" on your profile. LanguageCrush will display your name and any other user-submitted profile information on your profile according to the preferences you set in your account.
- Email addresses and full names may be used when a user invites a friend via email to join LanguageCrush and when LanguageCrush sends notifications to a user related to their use of LanguageCrush.
- When you post a message on a LanguageCrush Site or Application, you have the ability to post a message which may include personally identifiable information about yourself.
- If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
- We may share your personal information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, to establish or exercise our legal rights or, defend against legal claims and if in our judgment in such circumstances disclosure is required or appropriate.
- We may share your personal information if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our various terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
Assignment
As we continue to develop our business, we may also buy or sell all or part of our business. In such transactions, personally identifiable information you have shared with us is generally one of the business assets that will be transferred. The transferred personally identifiable information will remain subject to the promises made in this privacy policy or subsequent policies to which you have consented.How to Opt-Out

Advertisements appearing on the LanguageCrush Sites, Products or Services may be delivered to users by LanguageCrush or one of our Web advertising partners. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. LanguageCrush does not share any personally identifiable information with advertisers. LanguageCrush may share general demographic information (such as aggregated statistics about members' interests and occupations) and non-personally identifiable information (such as browser type and IP addresses) with advertisers and partners. LanguageCrush does not give advertisers access to your individual personal account information. However, by selecting, interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
LanguageCrush may revise, modify or update this policy. We may notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your particular LanguageCrush account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. You are encouraged to check this policy frequently for any changes as your continued use of the LanguageCrush service indicates your consent to such changes.
8. Confidentiality and Security
No data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Do Not Track Disclosure
Please note that while you may have the opportunity to opt-out of targeted advertising, and you may be able to control the use of cookies through your Web browser as described in the “Cookies” section above, some Web browsers may also give you the ability to enable a “do not track” setting. This setting sends a special signal to the sites you encounter while Web browsing. You can delete your applicable account by visiting the applicable account deletion page; however, please note that some personal information, primarily your contact information, may remain in our records to the extent necessary to protect our legal interests or document compliance with regulatory requirements.

The LanguageCrush web site is hosted in the U.S. and is intended for and directed to users around the world. If you are accessing this web site from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from U.S. laws, please be advised that through your continued use of this LanguageCrush, which is governed by U.S. law, this privacy policy, and our Terms of Service, you are transferring your personal information to the U.S. and you consent to that transfer.
