Birthday Blues
Whenever my birthday is coming, I always feel that it is just a normal day with extra food and people in the house. I don't know why but I have had some experiences during my birthdays that are not so good.
I think people are somewhat insincere. Sometimes, it might be me being unappreciative. I googled about this and then I understood that what I am feeling is birthday blues and I am not alone with this.
So, hopefully, something new will come after and I hope I will have a memorable and meaningful birthday next year.

That is why I do not celebrate my birthday due to the fact that people are doing what is expected of them rather than for any sincere reason. Although I don't doubt that some are being sincere! To my mind, doing nice things for people can be done on any day of the year, as the mood takes, that is when it is truly meaningful. Why limit it to only one pre-prescribed day?
