In our country we have many borrowed words or words influenced by other language (mostly Spanish) such as the following:


Lamesa - Table

Tasa - Cup

Uno, Dos, Tres ...- One, Two, Three...

Karne - Meat

Leche Flan - a sweet dessert

Baso - Glass

Tren - Train

Pabo - Turkey

Amiga - Friend

Ermano/Ermana - brother/sister

Ayuda - Help

Nunca - Never

Esposa/Esposo - Wife/ Husband

Pandesal - a type of bread

Nerbyoso - a person who is always nervous

Pero - But

Bus - Bus

Kalye - Street

Banyo - Bathroom

Sirado - Closed

Telepono - Phone

Pamilya - Family

Palda - Skirt

Wooooow as a spanish speaker my eyes sufered a little since some words are written differently, but yes there's an obvious influence:


Lamesa - la mesa

Tasa - taza

Uno, Dos, Tres ...- same here

Karne - carne

Leche Flan - same here (I think)

Baso - vaso

Tren - same here

Pabo - pavo

Amiga - same here, amiga and amigo

Ermano/Ermana - hermano/hermana

Ayuda - same here

Nunca - same here

Esposa/Esposo - same here

Pandesal - pan de sal?

Nerbyoso - nervioso

Pero - same here

Bus - Bus

Kalye - calle

Banyo - baño

Sirado - cerrado

Telepono - telefono

Pamilya - familia

Palda - falda


I know that Japanese has some borrowed words from English, and English has borrowed words from French.
