Just completed the intro lessons there, and I'm enjoying it already! Though it's great that we could also converse directly to native Spanish members here. Hehe

Duolingo is really cool indeed, here are some more words, this time relatd to feelings
Tristeza: sadness
Ira: anger
Decepción: disappointment
Sorpresa: surprise
Nerviosismo: nervousness
Some prepositions edze.conde
y =and
Con /sin =with/without
Para=for
Hasta =until
Pero=but
Yes and no comer is to eat
Comes means you eat (plural) Como I eat but como can mean how/like /as it is a toughy
Por ejemplo
¿como comes como un cerdo?
Is how do you eat like a pig !!!!
The verbs all change all the time duo lingo will probably teach you that ! I didn't get far it annoyed me not for me I get bored easily I generally cram lits of words in at once!
Using the first verbs you were given at the top of this thread I will miss dormir because it is irregular start easy this is I yo you used and we nosotros in present simple tense
Comer: Eat yo como , usted come nosotros comemos
Escribir: Write escribo escribe escribimos
Cortar: Cut corto cortex cortamos
Correr: Run corro correct corremos ( first words I taught my daughter to conjugate )
To make them gerund form is also quite an easy change you can learn when your head is around that.
