I started using dualingo to learn spanish for a while, i invested time in it at the basic level. I took a long break because of work, months to be precise, i recently downloaded it and it continued from where i stopped previously and honestly all i learnt kept coming back as soon as i saw them.
same! I stopped for almost 3 months now but I can still remember once I see them
Bugs and other weird things aisde, "Killing me softly" from Tarlac. They hit the chicken (while alive) repeatedly with a stick so it develops bruises. They said it makes it yummier. I just find it too...brutal so even though it's just chicken, I have no desire to taste it.
I know I'm suppose to be bragging about our beautiful beaches here in the Philippines, but the first thing that came into my mind when I saw this post is that we are the 3rd country with the most plastic waste. :(
My country Panamá is awesome. Most people can speak English. Our currency is the american dollar. Night life is very fun, we know how to party. You can drive from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean in 1 hour and a half. We have great all inclusive beach hotels or you can escape to the mountains. You can go see the Panama Canal. People are super friendly and happy and the food is just out of this world. It is worth visiting.
Nice to know! All I know about Panama is the prison scene because of Prison break series. :D
Reading any topic that interests me. Reading topics on how I can build muscle and not be bored with my current work out program haha! I am into attending seminars regarding personal development, leadership, financials, etc.
Hey Aileen, I wish I had something super encouraging to say to you, but all I can say is, it's okay to take a step back and reevaluate all the reasons that made you start in the first place. Or better still, take a break,do something else that motivates you and makes you happy and when you find your why,you come right back and kick ass!
There are some things you can't just translate because they end up losing their original meaning or intention. In my opinion, this does not happen always but I've been forced to speak Spanglish sometimes because I can't find the word or frase that would match what I'm trying to say. I support your opinion.
