English adjectives have no gender, no plural, and comparison suffix is simple. In Portuguese it's way more complex. I'll take the adjective for "beautiful" as an example:

Fem: bonita

Masc: bonito

Fem plu: bonitas

Masc plu: bonitos

Fem diminutive: bonitinha

Masc diminutive: bonitinho

Fem dim plu: bonitinhas

Masc dim plu: bonitinhos

Fem augmentative: bonitona

Masc augmentative: bonitão

Fem aug plu: bonitonas

Masc aug plu: bonitões
