Hola!

Can anybody give me at least 5 spanish words or phrases and its English translation (no repetition please:)...just to add to my vocabulary. This will save me a little time in searching the net you know...and my head spins around whenever I search the net for spanish words because it provides me with a long list. For now, five a day will do for me. Please do not include these anymore: hola, buenos dias, buenos tardes, buenos noches, por favor, gracias, adios, senior, seniorito, amore, beinvenido, pavo, si, te amo, como estas, hasta pronto, hasta luego, feliz, de nada, compleanos, me llamo, amiga

Gracias Carolina! I know it will be of great help to me. I plan to digest those 5 words you mentioned tomorrow since I'm really just focusing on 5 per day. :)

Mucho gracias! I'll take it one at a time. I have questions in mind like how words are arranged to create a sentence.

No dormir mucho ayer porque me emocionado aprender palabra nuevo. (Is my placement of words correct? I decided to put nuevo after palabra because I have observed that words are interchanged when translated in spanish. Hehe, is there a rule regarding that? Can you give me spanish prepositions and articles next time?:)

You did great, the correction I'd make is that palabra is feminine so I'd say palabra nueva instead of nuevo

Thanks Greg! I'm familiar with manana, siempre and nunca because most of our elders used that in our dialect back then. Those are some of the words we have adopted when Spaniards went here in our country many years ago. I heard them mostly in my grandparents. Here are some more of those words/phrases: excelente, muy bien, palabra de honor, siete palabra
