In the sentence, "Katika shule za ufundi wanafunzi hufundishwa ufindi chuma . . . " I thought the "hu" prefix would make it negative?
Agreed. So why is it singular in the title, and plural in the text?
The title says "Shule ya ufundi" and right below it, the first line of text says "Shule za ufundi." Which is correct?
Leo, thanks, that's pretty much what I thought. But it doesn't seem to follow the line of the conversation, so I was unsure.
Somebody please explain "Ninataka changu". Asante
A mysterious person named "Zuena" appears once in this dialog, and is never seen or heard from again.
Another question: In the last sentence, what does the word "sisi" do? It seems like the sentence would make perfect sense without it, and "sisi" just confuses things.
The first line says "Lela na hasani ni marafiki." Since hasani isn't capitalized, it does not look like a name, and the rollover translates it as "in particular." This make the first line total nonsense. The name Hasani needs to be capitalized.
I believe he should be called Josefu throughout; once he is referred to as Joseph
I am confused by the sentence "Familia ya baba na mama Hadija." I would expect "Familia ya baba na mama ya Hadija." Can somebody please explain? Asante.
The sentence giving the telephone number is incorrect; it has a period followed by a capital which is a typo.
"Kunya" should be "Kunywa"
"asuhuhi" should be "asubuhi"
