Hi, I am Saloua, your community tutor! I did my master’s degree in finance and worked in data analytics in Asia for a few years. I started teaching French during the pandemic and loved it ever since. I grew up bilingual speaking French and then Arabic. I love learning languages myself. I started learning English since I was 15. I learned Spanish during college and my current challenge is to learn Italian as well as Mandarin chinese. My interests include science, technology, economics, scuba diving, freediving, martial arts, personal development, dancing, & art.

Students that are motivated to learn improve their grammar knowledge or people who need to take their conversation skills to the next level.

How my background prepares me to teach:

I have been an online French & to a lesser degree english for more than 2 years now. I am very patient and developed my own pedagogy of teaching. The feedback from my students has been great so far which encourages me to continue.

Teaching methods or materials that I typically use during my lessons:

I use news articles, book extracts, regular grammar books with screenshots and pdfs when needed.
