Hi, my name is Zheng. I’m from the north of China, Harbin City. I’ve been teaching Chinese for three years. I also taught gongfu in Africa for two years, and I like panflute playing and extreme activities.
During our lessons, we’ll focus on idiomatic expressions in different situation designs and comparison between English grammar and Chinese grammar. I’ll introduce a little Chinese ideology to help you understand the ancient language and cultivate the capability of self-study.
The materials we’ll use in our lessons are Developing Chinese and HSK test. My students would describe my lessons as an integration of culture and verbal expression. I love teaching because I like to communicate with different people with different cultures.

I taught Mandarin in Tanzania from 2016 to 2018
I also taught Mandarin to Russian and South Korean exchange students at Harbin University of Commerce in 2019
I gained much teaching on-line teaching experience due to the corona
Obtained the CTCSOL certification (expired by Oct 2022 and I have successfully applied for a new one, which will be issued in Oct 2022)
I like to adopt body language, picture, PPT to help students to understand Chinese language, and utilize singing or rapping to connect all the key points together. I like to give a test for the new students before I design a personal curriculum for them.
