Write & Correct
English

I got a friend and I’m rather thoughtful lately

Hello there.
Today is Friday. When I woke up immediately saw that my essay was corrected by a native. I'm so glad.
And by the way, I got a new friend, and she's from the Philippines. We chat a little in English, and I learned a lot from her. She sent me audio teaching me how to speak “good night” in Tagalog and she asks me for audio too. Fair enough.
Later, I revised some phrases that I wrote this week. Sometimes I feel a little unfocused in my studies, I'm studying every day though. Maybe it was just a false impression.

I've been feeling a great improvement in my writing. Thanks for the corrections.

I feel that we are in the same level of English when it comes to writing. :)

Thank you so much. You've been very important to my studies. Today, I have a question. "I wrote (phrases) this week", why do you used Present Perfect instead Past Simple?

De nada 😶. It is the "past perfect" and it emphasises that: Some of the phrases you wrote this week impacted your "later" action of you "revising" them. What did you do this week? - I wrote some phrases this week. What did you revise this week? - I revised some of the phrases I wrote this week. \ I revised some of the phrases I had written earlier this week. (an earlier action affecting a later action) You spoke with your new friend this week what did you do after that? - Later, I revised the phrases I had written this week. The perfect tenses are difficult to both explain and understand, I hope I have at least made a bit of sense with my explanation.

You wrote them yes... but because you are referring/relating them to them in an order of sequence... we use the past participle 'written' with had making it past perfect
