I totally get what you mean! I’ve used both Babbel and Duolingo too. Duolingo is fun and keeps me consistent, but I feel like it doesn’t go deep enough for grammar or real conversation. Lately, I’ve been mixing apps with YouTube lessons and language exchange chats — that combo works best for me so far!

Great list! I’ve tried Duolingo and Memrise as well, and they’re super helpful for daily practice. HelloTalk is also worth checking out—its really good for chatting with native speakers and practicing naturally. Have you tried Busuu or Tandem? Those two are also quite popular in the language-learning community.
