I am half-Filipino and half-Taiwanese and I currently reside in the Philippines. I use multiple approaches and techniques in teaching and tutoring but I usually try first to determine their level of fluency in the language they seek to learn from me so that I could be able to construct a lesson plan that would suit them best. I would also like to learn about their mother tongue or first language.

A sample sentence in a language I teach:

I can teach you English grammar, writing, pronunciation, and vocabulary.

The kind of students I'm looking for:

I am looking for students who are determined, friendly, and have an open mind to new experiences.

How my background prepares me to teach:

I did my Work Immersion during my last year in senior high school, where in I was tasked to tutor elementary school students in English and Filipino. This gave me an experience that would be helpful to me in tutoring and teaching new students and dealing with different situations.

Teaching methods or materials that I typically use during my lessons:

I usually use lesson materials from the Internet as well as books.

Is there anything you should have or should do in advance:

He/she should just have the motivation to learn the language he/she wants to learn from me.
