Beginners Children Teenagers Business Test Preparation
Hi:) Im Mami. Actually I’m a Korean but I was born in Japan and lived there for 19 years. After graduating from university I worked at the Kyocera Korean branch office and did lots of interpretation and translation work. But after I realized I wanted to teach, I quit my job and focused on that. Now, I'm teaching Japanese to Korean and Korean to Japanese as well:) I’m a licensed Korean Instructor:) I like teaching very much, so I have taught Japanese to foreign people more than ten years. I like dancing (especially Korean traditional), singing and sharing my opinions with other people.
I hope to see you in my class; tell me about yourself - I’m always ready to hear from you!!:)
A sample sentence in a language I teach:
The kind of students I'm looking for:
Open minded and hardworking!!:)
How my background prepares me to teach:
I was born in Japan and have taught Japanese to foreign students for more than ten years:) I took a course to teach Japanese to foreigners online and learned a lot:) I have also been making lots of material for each class:) I can teach Japanese with Japanese culture which makes it easier to understand Japanese:) My students have different backgrounds, like CEOs, office workers, k-pop singers, trainees of entertainment companies, university students, vice presidents of financial supervisory services, sojourning employees, baseball players, etc.
Teaching methods or materials that I typically use during my lessons:
I have teaching experience ranging from a kindergarten child to a 70-year-old retired professor. So I can provide a wide range of materials which will vary depending on the student and what the student wants:)
Is there anything you should have or should do in advance:
For Japanese, it’s better to know how to read and write Hiragana and Katakana:) But it’s not prerequisite.
