I have been somewhat lazy with my Arabic lately but this week I decided to get back into the swing of things

here is my word of the week. phrases of the week and one has an audio file attached

Actually I have just realised this should go in learning logs... Is there an easier to way to move it instead of retyping?

أحبوا حتى الألم

means love until it hurts

 aHibbu is the command form of the verb "to love" Hob 

(you must/should plural when speaking to more than two people)



مسح

(masaH) = to wipe



يمسح جوخ


 (yasmaH juukh)
 Literally- He wipes clothes/means he is a suck-up/ass-kisser/teachers' pet

Standard Arabic, rufiDa= refused

itrafaD' is the Egyptian passive form

لأن كان شهر العسل

li'an kaan shahr al-3asl.
Because it was the honeymoon.
NEW VOCAB

shahr al 3asl = honeymoon

بين الحكومة وبين الأخوان المسلمين

Between the Government and between the Muslim Brotherhood
al Hukuuma = the Government

بكل الأسف

bi kull al asaf = unfortunately
