Suggestions: hotkeys and dictionaries

Hello!

I have been using LanguageCrush for a few months, and really like the reading tool. I do have some feedback on minor annoyances which I'm listing below.

Hotkeys

  • When using the arrow keys to move between words, I want to skip over words marked as ignored (thus only moving between unknown or learning words).
  • A hotkey to open up your default dictionary when a word is selected.

Dictionaries

  • Ability to add Wiktionary lookup alongside other dictionaries
  • Fix strange default translations. See image below for an example where the default translation is incorrect, clearly not matching other dictionaries.

UI

  • Ability to filter passages by whether I have marked them as read or not.

Ok, we’ve discussed this.

Can you explain further? And what dictionaries?

There’s no way for us to do this globally, but you can get rid of them from your own session by using “delete”.

Investigating.

In the translation options I'd find it useful to have a Lookup Using wiktionary.org. I manually copy words into Wiktionary often, particularly to see the etymology.

If Wiktionary was an option I would use it alongside Reverso. Ideally I could use a hotkey for my primary lookup (Reverso) and secondary lookup (Wiktionary) - but I recognise something like this might be too confusing/convoluted; in any case it would still be useful to be able to select Wiktionary as a dictionary.

Thanks - I forwarded that to the tech team.
