I am unable to change the default pinyin on the android app when learning Chinese. I can change it in the text box but nothing happens when I tap okay. It works on desktop tho

It's working for me on the app - are you just talking about toggling the pinyin on/off in the reading settings? If so, what version of android are you running? That's about the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

No, toggling it off/on is working for me. When I tap on a word I can see the pinyin and also when I tap on the pencil icon next to it I get the 'Edit the phonetic script' window. I can even edit the pinyin but tapping 'okay' doesn't save the changes and close the window but just doesn't have any effect whatsoever.
I'm running Android 16

Ah, ok. Yeah, I confirm editing pinyin is broken on the app. Ticket written.
