Do you guys think that using extensions like rikaikun can be beneficial to reading native level sites? I've heard that it can serve as a way to slowly understand hard text. Anyone tried it?

My friend suggested google translate as a chrome extension.

The google translate chrome extension translates words you highlight when you hover over them. I try to read as much as possible in the foreign language, and for individual words that I don't know, I highlight them. It is a less disruptive way of reading - I used to toggle between windows to get the translation..

Yes, I think it's beneficial, but I prefer reading tools like the one we have.

In the Philippines now.
