Hello! Filipino is what people in the Philippines are called. It is not a language :)) but if you meant between Tagalog and Cebuano, they're both pretty easy to learn. :heart_eyes:

Oh, I believe Jfarrah said Filipino is the national language of Philippines.

The 1987 constitution designates Filipino as the national language and an official language along with English.

Is the Cebuano language intelligible with Visayan language? I mean are they somehow related or totally a different one? I have been to Cebu a dozen times and I have picked up several Cebuano words..

Hi Aleksys. Yes, it is. It is just Cebuano is one of the varieties of dialects in Visayas.

I think so. When you meet someone you want to be closer with, you tend to want to learn the other person's language.
