But if they die, they have still lived their entire life, so the statement is true.

It sounded impressive at first though. For some reason it reminds me of the "world's tallest midget" claim.

Is this for real? :o

Oh yes. It is on their official website. You can get a Pirate Certificate, but they carefully note that it's for fun purposes only, and that you do not gain any license to commit acts of piracy.

But still, Phillip Laplana, Certified Pirate has a nice ring to it.

Adjusted for inflation that's worth $122,665,621.62 in 2018!

edit: Which isn't too much as well since there are tons of movies with budget more than 122m :D

Germany and Austria don't use the "QWERTY" keyboard, they use the "QWERTZ" keyboard.

  • The King of Hearts is the only king without a moustache. He represents Charlemagne. The other kings represent King David, Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar.
  • Polar bears are all left-handed. They cover their very black noses with their right paw, sneak up to prey, then club it to death with their left paw. If they try the other way around, they tend to bonk themselves on the nose instead.
  • Think of a person close to you that you regularly exchange text messages with. Try to read their text messages without hearing their voice in your head.

Speaking of polar bears, their skin is black and their fur is not white at all. Each hair is actually a clear hollow tube called "guard hair" and it looks white because of reflected light :o

Lol. Allegedly, when you're close to someone, you can't silently read their text messages without hearing their voice in your head.

The thigh bone is the biggest bone! It can be found in... uh... the thigh!

  • The first man to urinate on the moon was Buzz Aldrin, right after he stepped onto the lunar surface. He did not unzip, of course. He simply peed into an apparatus in his spacesuit, located in the pants. that's right, ladies and gentlemen, he was so excited to be on the moon that he literally peed his pants. (Who wouldn't, though?)
  • When an airline pilot needs to pee, he puts on the fasten seatbelt sign so that everyone has to return to their seats. The number one cabin crew member will then guard the door to the cockpit to make sure that no one attempts to get in there until the Captain is done.
  • In 2012, chinese scientists discovered a way to convert immature brain cells into fully grown neurons... using urine.

This pisses me off. There are times when the moon temperature isn't dangerous, so he should have peed freely then. Now we have to send another guy just to properly mark our territory. Thanks Buzz!

Better do it before these guys do. You've got a bunch of artists in a rocket ship doing a flyby of the moon, you KNOW they're gonna try something.

  • Of the twelve crew members of the Enola Gay, only three of them knew exactly why they were flying to Hiroshima that day.
  • In the film Jurassic Park, the sound of velociraptors barking at each other is actually the sound of a tortoise while mating.
  • Italy's Mafia turns over $178 billion a year, accounting for 7% of the country's GDP.
