I agree this would be very useful to be able to zoom through texts using the keyboard only working on my unknown and learning words. I can't wait for this update to get implemented, it will be amazing!Sarah.H wrote:Hey, I am not sure if I was clear in my request!
I would like to have an additional shortcut - so that the next word selected is either a word that is currently set as "learning" or a word that is "unknown". Otherwise you have to rush through all the known words in which you don't need a translation. So I would like to change the behaviour of the right arrow key, so that it never selects words that are known. Or is this the behaviour that should be already implemented? If yes, it doesn't work like this for me in any passage.
Hope it's clearer now and thanks for looking into it!
LanguageCrush website needs Keyboard shortcuts (or does it already have it?)
The ticket is in work.
Learning Italian every day!
I'm thinking of committing to Language Crush.
Shortcuts are extremely important.
Known, ignore and next page (stop hiding the controls).
Getting rid of the highlighted word area using ESC would be helpful. Or better if you don't cover the page controls.
Less important:
A shortcut for "next highlighted" word would help.
I can't see dark green highlighted text on some screens so changing it would help.
Working better on android would be great.
There are some half-shortcuts.
SOMETIMES right and enter goes to the next page. Not when a word is highlighted. Please make it always work (ideally using control right or page down).
////
Currently, on android, you can tab through areas and get some value.
go to a tab stop (press tab) and press enter or space.
If tab stop 1 is the 3 line menu
tab 2 passage statistics [could this have it's own shortcut please?]
3
4 edit passage
5 3 dots
7 play
8 speed
9 full screen
10 last screen[could this have it's own shortcut please?]
11 Next screen [could this have it's own shortcut please?]
Number of words read in a day would be great. It's a primary statistic.
LC allows left, right and K for known right now . Chrome browser on a desktop.
ok, we'll discuss it

You updated the app but didn't add these. That's worrying.
Note how old this thread is. The other change was out before you posted, but delayed in a migration issue. We solved the migration issue. Please be patient; we haven't discussed your requests yet, and it takes time to release stuff.BrianLearnsGreek.Birch wrote:You updated the app but didn't add these. That's worrying.

Hi Gug - this should be working now. Can you confirm?Gug.27 wrote:I agree this would be very useful to be able to zoom through texts using the keyboard only working on my unknown and learning words. I can't wait for this update to get implemented, it will be amazing!

What do you mean by hiding the controls? Can you provide a screenshot?BrianLearnsGreek.Birch wrote:Known, ignore and next page (stop hiding the controls).
Known words are skipped now by the right and left arrow keys. Is that what you mean?wrote:A shortcut for "next highlighted" word would help.

I confirm that this update is awesome and works great for me on Chrome. Your android app is really good too, thanks for your hard work.
