pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. Try to speak this :) By the way this is the name of lung disease cause by dust and fine ash.
Accept the challenge and pronounce the longest English word?
I tried, I swear I did.... That word gave me a headache! I googled it and there's a little boy that spells it sooo easy!
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
Learning Italian every day!
I was looking for the longest word in spanish and I got disappointed, I knew it and it is not that long (23 letters). So I started thinking and I remembered that Germans have compound words and I found this one (80 letters):
"Donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft"
Meaning: the "Association for Subordinate Officials of the Head Office Management of the Danube Steamboat Electrical Services"
o my God its too long have you been able to pronounce this Spanish word?

I actually found a longer one in Spanish: "esternocleidomastoideitis" (inflammation of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, 30 letters). The one I knew was esternocleidomastoideo and I learned it when I was a girl :).
lolz right its interesting :)
btw i tried but failed to say this one :)
The English word is easy to pronounce when you have tried it like 20 times. Lol. That German word will fry your tongue. I didn't even bother trying.
If I was to choose being an animal, I will like to be an Eagle.
I'm just thinking of how funny it must have been to sit down and come up with a long word. Were they trying to win the Guineas World record?
If I was to choose being an animal, I will like to be an Eagle.
i could pronounce it if i broke it down into sections I understand.
Pneumono sounds like anything to do with a pneumonia-like sickness, so that's easy.
Ultramicroscopic... also easy
The silicovolcano is fairly okay. I already associate that term with "volcanic sands" or volcanic dust.
And the last is weird to me. "Coniosis" does sound like a disease word.
So I go pneumono... ultramicroscopic... silicovolcano.... coniosis. And then I run the whole thing together. Groovy. :)
Lolz no pronounce in a go :) its difficult i know :p
