It's definitely not true for apples...unless they are very, very green maybe.

When I read about apples being good for losing weight and eating less calories I thought the same! The explanation is that apples are high in weight loss friendly fiber and they have a lot of water inside them. Water-rich foods are quite filling, which often leads to reduced calorie intake. It turns out you end up eating less and feeling fuller :o.

A flea can jump up to 200 times its own height. That is the equivalent of a human jumping the Empire State Building.

That's not the same as getting negative calories, like you do with celery. If you subtract the fiber from the calories in apples, you will still have a lot of calories. I completely agree that apples are good for you though.

That’s why Im so paranoid with them and they’re hard to eradicate. Keep the trivias coming! :+1::skin-tone-2:Jess.PWinkler wrote:A flea can jump up to 200 times its own height. That is the equivalent of a human jumping the Empire State Building.

When some materials are heated they expand, that is why the tower grows, the metal expands :)
The largest cells found in nature are ostrich eggs. Before fertilization, the entire interior of the egg consists of a single cell, which can weigh up to 5 pounds.

Yes they are! They are considered the biggest cell and according to the Guinness World Records "The largest egg on record weighed 2.589 kg (5 lb 11.36 oz) and was laid by an ostrich (Struthio camelus) at a farm owned by Kerstin and Gunnar Sahlin (Sweden) in Borlänge, Sweden"

A "jiffy" is an actual unit of time. In chemistry and physics, it is the amount of time it takes for light to travel a distance of one centimeter.
Count the number of times a cricket chirps in fifteen seconds. Then add 37. That's approximately how hot it is tonight (in Fahrenheight).
Every single Rubik's Cube you find can be solved in 20 moves or less.
large, gigantic and humungous ----> Hilarious! But makes sense though LOL

This is a cool fact, I'll try it!

I refuse to believe this xD!
The largest internal organ is the liver. It is also the heaviest organ, with an average of 1.6 kilograms (3.5 pounds).
The largest external organ, which is also the largest organ in general, is the skin.

And some have more humungous organs than most.
In fact...
