Hello, everybody! How are you?


Let's discuss a very hypothetical situation:

If there were no English in this planet, which foreign language do you think we'd be learning instead, and why?

For me, I think it'll be the tower of Babel all over again :grin:

That option is if the UK didn't exist... If the UK exists in this hypothetical situation I would say a norse language (vikings)

Latin would be sweet. But realistically if the UK empire failed we would probably be speaking French or Spanish depending on the results of their war in the 1500s
