Hello all!

I'm Hanna and I'm already fluent in English and Turkish and now I'm learning Russian!

I mostly made my profile to be able to teach online - I have had several private students over the years, but as I'm planning on moving around quite frequently, I decided it was time to figure out online language teaching as well! :)

Also, as a story/literature enthusiast I love incorporating stories into both my learning and teaching process.

As a child, I was huge bookworm, and while I'm not quite there yet in Russian, I can't wait until I get to be a Russian bookworm! :)

Hello Hanna!

Nice to meet a Turkish speaker. I love visiting Turkey, and it's definitely a language I'd love to learn in the future. I recently finished reading My Name is Red by Orhan Pamuk, and look forward to reading more Turkish literature. Do you have any suggestions??

Welcome Hanna, love your ambition I can't read adult books yet in my second languages , and I am so preoccupied with speaking to my new Spanish friends without sounding like a moron i doubt my reading will get much better anytime soon but I too have a love of books,:notebook_with_decorative_cover::closed_book::green_book::book::blue_book::orange_book:

Oh, interesting meifeng! I read more in English, so I don't know Turkish literature as well. The last book I read was "yaprak dokumu" (falling of the leaves) but I'm not sure if there's an English translation available.

And, Jade, I'm definitely not there yet either :)

Right now, I just got into graded readers (for non-native speakers) but even at a2-b1 level you can find some interesting stories if you find the right resources. (Though I can't wait till I'm able to read "real" literature")
