I've only lived in my country, Dominican Republic and have visited Haiti and the states.
In which countries have you lived?
I lived in Ireland for most of my life, but I previously lived in the UK for a few years and now I live in the United States. I've been to lots of other countries though... including your home nation Elso! I went there for a wedding last year and it was absolutely beautiful.
I guess the question is how long do you have to stay somewhere for it to be considered living there? Does it have to be consecutive?
Italian/Portuguese/Korean spurt in progress.
Philippines. But I'd love to visit Antarctica, Iceland, South Korea and Africa for different reasons
Just here in the Philippines. But I stayed in Cebu (still in the Philippines) for a year and they have a different dialect there.

That's a great question and I guess it varies but for the purpose of this post let's say at least a couple of months.leosmith wrote:I guess the question is how long do you have to stay somewhere for it to be considered living there? Does it have to be consecutive?

Great question! For me I suppose it's down to each person how long it takes to feel like you're living there. I've stayed and worked in dozens of cities and countries but only felt like I was actually at home and living in a few of them.

The best lechon... gawd... when I was there I had Cebu lechon whenever I wanted. My poor blood pressure...
If you had to have stayed long enough to feel at home, then the only other place I've ever called home was Colorado. If I had that year to do over again I absolutely would.
sounds like a great experiencePhillip.Laplana wrote:Frederick.Dizon wrote:Aileen.Cortes wrote:I'd really love to visit Cebu soon. :D
